Today is a great day...it's my birthday!
Thank you to all my friends who have already contacted me today. I am many years younger(lol) and enjoying life more every day.
That's not the only thing we have to celebrate. I am happy to announce that my first grandchild was born just over a week ago. Her name is Quinn and she gets the Most Beautiful Baby award! She is absolutely a beautiful baby!!
August is an eventful month here at The Elms with many good things happening! Crops are resilient and growing fast! Where floods waters hit us, we changed the plan for what crop we would plant on our duck fields. We've planted millet in those the fields, which means that our ducks will have plenty to eat.
You'll be hearing from me more often now that August is here. Keep reading... this month has lots of moving parts! When things slow down and sometimes you hit a wall, those challenges seem to make things even better than before!
