Well, it’s the10th of August. Here's what's going on at the farm.
We are well on our way starting the process for our duck season and field preparations.
Millet has been planted on about 1,000 acres to assure the ducks will have food.
Wells will be engaged to flush water on the fields because it looks like no rain is in sight.
We dug up and reseated a pit last week. The pit needed to be relocated because it was taking on water due to a problem. This was no easy task even for the best trackhoe operator.
Our plan in preparation for early teal season is fast approaching, not to mention dove season, which will be here before we turn around.
Just a short report this week!
Until next time, this is Duck Diva signing off. Remember, I call the shots!
