AG FIELDS

Our agricultural fields are planted with rice, corn, and soybeans, then carefully flooded after harvest to create prime Arkansas duck hunting habitat in the Mississippi Flyway. These flooded fields contain post harvest grain and natural food sources that attract large numbers of migrating and wintering waterfowl throughout the season. Water levels are managed gradually to provide a steady supply of fresh feeding areas for ducks and geese during Arkansas waterfowl hunting season.

CRP POOLS

Our CRP pools feature natural plant communities that are carefully managed to promote healthy waterfowl habitat and plant diversity. After moist soil seeds mature, these areas are re flooded to create ideal feeding, resting, and roosting conditions for ducks and geese. Wild millet, smartweed, and select hardwood plantings help support thousands of birds each season, making these areas an important part of our Arkansas waterfowl hunting experience.
