Kim Freeman

Kim V. Freeman,  Owner, Executive Chairman, and Chief Financial officer of The Elms Plantation, L.L.C., the parent of The Elms Grand Prairie Waterfowl Lodge. Ms. Freeman is a native of the Altheimer area and grew up on a cotton farm outside of the nearby community of Wabbaseka. In her capacity as executive chairman and CFO, Freeman provides strategic direction and management to the operation of the Lodge, as well as the other divisions of The Elms Plantation, L.L.C. (production agriculture, special events, and the café). She is aided by an administrative assistant, Samantha Price, who handles clerical, bookkeeping, and other administrative duties.

Randy Sowell

Chief Operations

Randy (pictured far left) a Tennessee native and expert in construction is incredibly valuable to the Elms operation.  His vast knowledge of the lodges, property, and fields is expansive and to say he is a jack of all trades is an understatement.  Randy helps get all of the lodges in order for the season as well as direct initiatives to make physical additions to fields.

Rusty Vassaur

Head Chef

Rusty has a love for making people smile in The Elms dining room.  His attention to detail with food preparation, delivery, and presentation is exactly what you would expect in our 3-day hunt packages.

Samantha Price

Office Manager

Samantha "Sam" is not afraid to take on any task, shes pleasant person to talk with on the phone and has a love for the outdoors, and she's not afraid to relocate the occasional snake that creeps into the yard.

JR Rose

Direstor of Housekeeping

J.R. takes his job seriously, with the hustle and bustle of duck season and guests coming and going, we are very proud to have JR on staff to keep the lodges in tip-top shape.

Patrick Sawatsky

Building Supervisor

Patrick, like Randy, is a jack of all trades.  Runs trackhoes, tractors, and can pretty much build anything.  when he's not working he loves spending time on the rivers with his wife
